Why did I think the “Man In Black’s” name was [del]Jonny Cash[/del] Enoch?
Some people have been calling the man in black Esau, who was Jacob’s (twin?) brother in the bible. You probably got that confused with Enoch.
WAG: Many people have called him Esau, since he seemed to be paired with Jacob, and in the Bible, Esau is Jacob’s evil twin. (This turned out to be a better guess than we could have known, in that the characters actually are twins.) Esau and Enoch are both two-syllable, old-school Genesis male names, so perhaps you confused the two?
That’s probably what I was thinking of. All day yesterday I was trying to think of Jacob’s brother’s name in the bible.
