I am going to bump this because I now know a bit more about the problem. It really has nothing to do with the color displayed or not, but the color disappears when a text is displayed inside it. I finally went to my wife’s computer to see what the moderator’s color bar looks like and it was a yellow tone, not cyan at all. Another curiosity is that when I using email (Outlook, unfortunately) and there is a misspelling it gets underlined. When I hover the mouse over the misspelled word, the entire word disappears, making it impossible to correct by hand.
Now I am wondering if the video driver should be reinstalled and how to do that.
