I decided recently to install Civ3 again, as it would provide some quelment for my boredom. However, after trying to launch it, it cuts to a black sound, plays a split second of sound, and freezes. I’ve gone to the website and installed the patches, and followed all advice they give, but all to no avail. Has anyone had similar problems, and if so was there anything you did to fix it?
Which OS are you running?
I was running Win XP Pro and Civ 3 would not run. I ended up having to run it in Win 98 mode before I got it to work.
