I usually get my siblings gift certificates for Christmas. In order to make this less lame (please leave the debate about the lameness of gift certificates out of this thread), I usually package the gift certificates with something else.

I’ve done the bacon salt 3-pack
I’ve done the box of chedder bacon popcorn
I’ve done Hey Garlic head BBQ sauce (http://www.heygarlichead.com/)

I’m looking for something similar - some intersting non perishable food product. Preferably less than $15

A lot of whiskey companies, like Maker’s Mark, have lines of BBQ sauce.

Toad Sweat. They’re sweet dessert sauces (key lime, cranberry, chocolate orange, and lemon vanilla) for use on ice cream, pies, cheesecake, etc. The twist is that they contain capsaicin, or pepper extract. They’re sweet and hot, and make great gifts.

And they’re yummy!

Think Geek, has lots of cool stuff, including many mentioned here. Sometimes not the cheapest source, but they have nice exclusives.

How about booze-infused whipped cream in a squirt can? It’s actually pretty good!

Needs no refrigeration.
