I’m not onr to complain much at all, and I know there were a lot of detractors about the Profile Visits thing, but I thought it was pretty cool. If we can all get over the unrealistic paranoia thing that “OMGZ, MEMBERS R STALKING ME!”, I like the community feel that people might be interested enough in you, and vise versa. A User Page can be as informative as you like, and it helps to flesh out a sort of personal (if limited) “FAQ”, if you will, about yourself. I also liked that visitors to your User Page could leave messages.
Also, I noticed that BB Code for signatures has been disabled. Does this place need to be so clinical and spartan as to allow absolutely zero style or personality?
It would be nice to see these new features reinstated.
If anything, are there any reasons that make sense to turn these off, rather than just pandering to the squeaky wheels? It’d be nice to know.
