Program the perfect night of television.

Choosing any shows from tv history to mix and match, what would your personal best night of tv be? The only rules are that you must follow the basic unwritten rules of tv programming. 8:00-9:00 and 9:00-10:00 can each be two half hours or one hour long program. 10:00-11:00 must be an hour long. If the 8:00 slot is filled by an hour long show, so must the 9:00. If you insist, you can have a first-run syndication show at 7:00.

My personal perfect night of television:

8:00–Monty Python’s Flying Circus
8:30–The Twilight Zone
9:00–The Avengers
10:00-Picket Fences

8:00–The Simpsons
8:30–The Simpsons
9:00–The Simpsons
9:30–Futurama
10:00–Junkyard Wars

Although I must admit that I’ve watched almost no classic TV.

Nothing. Nothing at all. A complete blank screen.

Or maybe the Fish Channel. Did anyone else have the Fish Channel? Classic music and the camera on a fish tank, 24 hours a day. I miss it, I really do. My cats loved it, too.
