So just what DO you watch?

Inspired by this thread on the awfulness of US TV, what all do you watch? My own list is going to include only the stuff I watch on a regular basis/go out of my way to watch, leaving out things I might stumble across channel surfing.

SUNDAY:
King of the Hill, Cash in the Attic (BBC), Simpsons, Desperate Housewives, Family Guy, American Dad, Ultimate Poker Challenge (syndicated), Poker Superstars II (Fox Sports Network)

MONDAY:
NYPD Blue (syndicated on Court TV)

TUESDAY:
NYPD Blue, Veronica Mars

WEDNESDAY:
NYPD Blue, Lost, Alias, Eyes, World Poker Tour (Travel Channel)

THURSDAY:
NYPD Blue

FRIDAY:
Poker Royale, World Series of Blackjack, Celebrity Blackjack (all on GSN)

SATURDAY:
Extreme Dodgeball (GSN)

Anything else I watch is done irregularly or if I happen to find/remember it, or because the TV’s on while I’m doing something else (like I catch the first 15 minutes or so of a Buffy ep while I’m getting ready for work). Some stuff I watched (like Mr Romance and Ultimate Fighting Challenge) were limited series and are over, and nothing’s replaced them in my schedule as yet. I contrast this with my dad, who has three TVs and three VCRs and plans out his taping and viewing a week ahead of time.

Sunday:
Simpsons (sometimes), Arrested Development (2nd season recently finished, but I watched it religiously), Family Guy (it’s back!), Boston Legal (I believe 1st season recently finished).

Monday:
24.

Tuesday:
Scrubs, The Office (1st season recently finished), The Shield.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday:
Nothing.

Monday through Friday:
Late Night With Conan O’Brien (if I’m up late enough, and even then I usually just catch the monologue and first skits).

Saturday:
Justice League Unlimited (if it’s new), Saturday Night Live (if I’m home).

Tuesday: Veronica Mars, House, M.D., Blind Justice
Wednesday: Smallville, Lost
Thursday: Survivor
Friday: Enterprise, for three more weeks.

Tuesday: The Shield

That’s it unless I’m working out of town (which I do quite a bit), in which case I watch Law & Order constantly.

Otherwise, I watch the A’s if they’re on and if no one else wants the TV, I’ll watch the NBA playoffs.

Sunday: Arrested Development

Monday: 24

Tuesday: The Amazing Race, House

Wednesday: Lost, Eyes

Thursday: Nuthin’

Friday: Numb3rs

Saturday: Nuthin’

On occassion: Simpsons, Joan of Arcadia

Sun: King of the Hill, Simpsons, Arrested Development, Family Guy
Mon: The Bachelor, Supernanny
Tue: American Idol, The Amazing Race, House
Wed: nothing
Thurs: Survivor, The Apprentice
Fri: What Not to Wear, 20/20
Sat: SNL (yes, I’m a glutton for punishment)
Daily: The Daily Show, Simpsons reruns and Starting Over

That’s prime time. I also watch Good Eats, The Soup, Best Week Ever (it wasn’t on last week, is it done?), and a lot of HGTV and DIY (we just bought a house with a yard, so we need tips)

Using your criteria, Otto, it turns out I don’t watch anything. I’ll fall asleep to whatever’s on when I hit the sack, but I don’t purposefully sit down to watch any particular show - with the possible exception of Joan of Arcadia, but that’s really because Genghis Blonde (my daughter) likes to watch it. If she weren’t into Joan, I wouldnt’ be either.

Oh, boy, I’m gonna get flamed for the amount of crap I watch, but what the heck.

Sunday: Law & Order: CI. I happen to like Vincent D’Onofrio, so there.
Grey’s Anatomy, a new one on ABC.

Monday: Medium.

Tuesday: Amazing Race and sometimes Law & Order: SVU. I tape Scrubs and The Office.

Wednesday: Lost and Law & Order.

Thursday: CBS all the way. Survivor, CSI and Without A Trace. I tape ER and watch it on Friday.

Friday: Joan of Arcadia, Third Watch and Law & Order: Trial by Jury.

Prime time -

Sun: nothing, unless it’s football season
Mon: Monster Garage, Monday Night Football in season
Tue: Deadliest Catch
Wed: Mythbusters (hmm… I seem to watch a lot of Discovery Channel)
Thu-Sat: nothing in particular

I also watch a lot of baseball in season.

Outside of prime time I like Pardon The Interruption, SportsCenter and Good Eats in particular.

I’m a reality show junkie (I don’t care what you other people say, I like them!).

Monday - nothing, there’s nothing good on.
Tuesday - The Amazing Race
Wednesday - nothing, I’m out and about.
Thursday - Survivor and The Apprentice.
Friday - if I’m around and I remember, Joan of Arcadia.
Saturday - nothing, I watch movies on DVD.
Sunday - sometimes I watch that Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, but it’s pretty sappy, so I don’t mind missing it.

Other than those times, if I’m really in the mood to watch something I might catch a sitcom or something, but I don’t go in for most crime dramas or news shows. I’d rather read a book.

I haven’t watched TV in over 5 years.

Sun-Fri: Simpsons on local network

Sun-Thurs: Futurama on Cartoon network which is the exact same time as Simpsons so I flip back and forth trying to watch both. (shakes small, ineffectual fist at CN)

Mon: Stargate SG-1 reruns on Scifi

Wed: try to remember to tape Lost and usually fail

Fri: Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Battlestar Galactica (if I’m home)
Sat: tape Full Metal Alchemist

Sun: tape Venture Brothers, occasionally catch Grey’s Anatomy purely for the hotness of fully matured Patrick Dempsey. Oddly enough, I never watch Simpsons first run, only in reruns.

Other than that, I flip around to the home shows and marvel at what I could accomplish for only $1000 if I had a team of professional designers, carpenters, painters, and seamstresses at my disposal.

There *are * some shows that, if they’re on and I’m in the vincinity, I’ll sit down to watch 'em:

**Extreme Makeover Home Edition ** (Ty Pennington et al, right?) - a great weepfest, true sappy feel-good fun. Makes me feel all warm and gushy toward Sears.

**Scrubs ** - Elliot; sigh. Psychiatrist-lady (Heather someone?); rowr.

Lessee . . . um. . . okay, that’s it.

Oh, I forgot about that one! That, American Idol* and Survivor are two of the only shows my husband and I watch together.

*He actually pretends to be doing something else in the adjoining kitchen while it’s on and claims to not be watching it, but he’ll still make comments from the other room. That counts.

There are a few shows that I’ll watch if I happen to remember they’re on, like Extreme Makeover Home Edition and Desperate Housewives, but the shows I like are:

Grey’s Anatomy
The Amazing Race
Survivor
Lost
Good Eats

I like Scrubs too, but not enough to not watch Survivor. Otherwise I just usually read a book.

Monday The Bachelor

Tuesday The Shield

Wednesday Lost, Alias, Law & Order

Thursday Project Greenlight

Fri, Sat, Sun nothing
All shows subject to being overruled by baseball games

I don’t have cable, but I wanna play too.

If I did, I would watch:

Simpsons
The Croc Hunter
Mail Call
Star Trek: TOS or DS9
ConQuest

I realize some of this stuff may not actually be on. But it’s what I would watch, if I could. That would be the only thing that would inspire me to get cable, if I could for a reasonable price get only the shows I liked and at times convenient for me (and presumably, everyone else could, too.)

I watch a lot of crap.

Monday- nothing
Tuesday- American Idol and Amazing Race
Wednesday- America’s Next Top Model (and I looooved Project Runway as well) and the AI results show
Thursday- Joey and The Apprentice
Friday- nothing
Saturday- nothing
Sunday- Arrested Development

I also catch Friends reruns and those crappy Real World/Road Rules Challenge marathons on occasion. I know that something is wrong with me, but I haven’t yet figured out what.

House in da hizzouse!

Okay, I apologize for that. It won’t happen again. But still, House is an excellent show, and I’m surprised no one has mentioned it, especially since there’s a new episode on tonight. is excited

I also am in the process of (re)watching every episode of Star Trek ever. Other than that, nada.
