I may be wrong, but I think I understand the point Dogface was trying to make. I hate the stupid fuckers that can ignore in a disspasionate way the desecration of American soldiers. Men and women, who unlike others are professionals, American servicemen and women do not enlist to kill people they hate. They enlist to serve their country. I have said many times they are victims just as much as the Iraqis. But Iraqis are dying in much higer numbers and nobody gets worked up about it as they do when Americans are killed. They are all victims but there are many more Iraqi victims.
Well, Iraqis fighting to expel the invaders are fighting for their homeland. It seems to me like one of the most acceptable reasons to fight: to defend your homeland against the invaders.

If Aldebaran has ever made a post celebrating the death of any one, I haven’t read it. Is he unhappy with US foreign policy? Absolutely. Does he want us out of the middle east? Certainly. Does he long for the death of all USers? Nope.
I may disagree strongly with his positions, and his debating style. But, as a person, I like Aldebaran.

Why do people have to repeat “Third Worlder” over and over. It smacks of racism, or more precisely economic determinism (i.e. people in ‘good’ countries don’t behave this way). Most Third World peoples are quite peaceful, given the widespread poverty and degredation they have to cope with. Yes these people in Falluhaj are savages, as were the Al-Qaeda bombers on 9-11. But some of the worst savages of the last 100 years had white skins, went to Christian churches, and listened to opera.
