I’ve ordered a few of the bunionette pads/shields online but they’ve essentially just been thin padding. They’d help if the problem was rubbing - blisters - but bunionettes are caused by pressure and thin padding doesn’t protect against that at all. Are there any better shields out there? Ones made from plastic or thick rubber for instance to actually take pressure off it?
I think you mean Tailor’s Bunions, named because they were common in tailors who sat cross-legged on floors. Your local pharmacy should have bunion pads that are thick and cover the area. You probably need new shoes, and a visit to a podiatrist.
