Protein!

While perusing this board the last few hours and generally making an ass of myself, I have found that I have just consumed a 6.2OZ(175g) bag of Beef Jerky.

There goes my lunch diet all to heck.

6 oz of beef is like one serving. Have a salad.

Lunch balanced.

Mass ratio between raw beef and jerky is 2 or 3 to 1, so you should figure that 6 ounces of jerky represents about a 12-ounce serving of cooked beef in terms of non-water components.

On the other hand, my roommate persuaded me to go to Texas de Brazil (a churrascaria) for brunch yesterday. I was still not hungry this morning, but decided to have a small bowl of cereal around lunch, because fiber seemed advisable. So, Cabin_Fever, maybe you could take a little perspective from my dubious example.
