I’m searching a stock photography site for pictures of *pruning shears * – the anvil type, specifically, but since that search yields nothing, just “pruning shears.” I get why we’re ending up with sheep pix (hi, Hal!), and can make a more or less educated guess as to why there would be a series of lingerie shots, many with an emphasis on legs and points somewhat north.
Why were the bridal imagery shots coming up?

Interesting. I just looked at the stock photo site we use. I got plenty of garden tools, but the first photo is a bride.
Best guess. Someone entered it into the database wrong or as a typo variant of “sheer” like the veil and lace see-through fabric stuff.
P.S. The site has anvil pruning shears if you still need a photo. The images are cheap too.
I was at iStock and found what I needed, just had to wade through a bunch of extraneous stuff – like brides. I can see the “shear/sheer” confusion – but whence “pruning”?
Mebbe the latest “must have” for a new bride is an averruncator. Is Ace Hardware running full page ads in the bridal mags?
