I have never been known for my words in songs…there’s an Eddie Money song that I screwed up for years, my best friend set me straight one day and we couldn’t stop laughing for the longest time! I got clothes mixed up with coat.
I wish I could remember the name of the song. But hey it’s a blonde thing < giggle >
I wake up to the radio, and sometimes the first song I hear sticks with me for a while.
God help me if it’s a song I hate. The worst two instances of this were “Muskrat Love” and “I Am Woman.” (Many, many years ago)
No shit. Those godawful tunes were stuck in my head. When that happens, all you can do is try to re-write 'em into something amusing. I can’t tell you what the words to I Am Woman changed to, but the chorus ended with:
