Sad news. I haven’t been this enthusiastic about a show since Arrested Development. It’s not dead yet, but the outlook is bleak (the ratings have been terrible).
I’ll definitely get any DVDs, if only to show to my daughter who’s been out of the country. She’d love it.
The article says that episode 2.13 is the last one. So does anyone know which episode number aired most recently? I’m trying to figure out how many episodes remain to be shown.
I am going to be very sad to see Pushing Daisies go, especially if they don’t re-order right now. From everything I have read it sounds like the creative team wasn’t expecting to end the show quite yet, and this will become yet another Bryan Fuller show that will be canceled without any type of resolution.
Every time some bland, generic, uninteresting show (or even flagrantly obnoxious like most reality tv) goes for 8 years while unique, quirky, interesting shows die an early death I want to somehow withdraw from pop culture/society.

I actually feel the same way. Let’s see we’ve got Covington Cross, check. Cosby, check. Dead Like me, check. Firefly, check. Carnivale, check. The 4400, check. The Dead zone, check. Anod now this
The show had a lot going for it, but I stopped watching early this season. If there had been the slightest hint that Ned and Chuck would find a way to overcome, I would have persevered. But it was just so damn sad.
