He’s supposedly considering it.
Well, cool. I’d like to see the contenders before making any decision, but of the potentials, he’s now currently my favorite.
Another one about Brown:
Hey guys, look over here —> Hee-haw, y’all. The 2020 Democratic Presidential Primary
Yes it does. Most of the things you mentioned up there are wrong. While people act like the abortion issue is complicated, the idea that personhood begins at conception is provably false, and we’ve been showing that for a long time. No one treats the death of a fetus the same as the death of a person. Hence we don’t give them personhood. Plus, there’s the additional issue that we’ve shown repeatedly that pro-life is generally about punishing women for having sex.
The gun rights issue could be an issue, but it would require anyone actually going after gun rights, when no one is. Instead, the people who put that first are just people who continue to spread falsehoods about the liberal position, that we want to take away their guns. And, anyways, if someone values a gun more than people, then said person is inherently wrong. So we have two ways they are wrong.
The only issue you mention that is a valid issue is the jobs in Appalachia. That can be a legitimate issue. The main problem there is that neither side has anything that could fix that problem. Granted, the Democrats could run on that, but they didn’t. So picking either side on this basis is wrong.
And this is assuming a hypothetical Republican voter who doesn’t then go on to toe the line on issues involving racism. If they in any way support the racist aspects of Republican ideology, even as an ancillary, they are wrong. And most do.
So we very much can call these people wrong. And we can call those who defend the racist parts racist.
Granted, that may not be the best persuasion tactic if we think we can pull them to our side. I try not to call people racist unless I think they are a lost cause, just because I know it makes them defensive. But I’m not going to pretend they aren’t wrong.
