Just to be clear, to prove your confidence in Romney’s re-election and to show that you think Romney deserves to be re-elected, your taking the terms you outline in your OP? If Obama wins, you won’t post in GD/BBQ/Elections for six months after the election (except for the week immediately after the election)?
Here’s where you’re wrong. I’m fairly confident, but not 100% sure of course. I don’t pretend to be. However, I really really DO think he deserves to be re-elected. Based on his own record and his own character. When you factor in the disgust I have for Romney, it’s almost a life or death election.
ETA: I’ll refrain for posting for 3 months if Romney wins. I’ll be in a dark cave anyway, drunk and disagreeable.
These are hardly equivalent statements. I think Obama should be re-elected. But I’m not certain it’s going to happen.

I think a Romney election would be much worse for the country. I believe that very strongly and stand by that assessment, because it is based on reason and knowledge of the issues.
That doesn’t mean that the universe wants Obama to win. Or that he must win, because he is the superior candidate. Especially since Romney is willing to lie and misrepresent himself in order to get votes. Elections measure popularity, not divine rightness to lead.

“Romney’s re-election” … that would be for years from now. 
I’m in…all it takes is one Obama supporter to accept. I’m still open to tweaking the terms…six months, three months, till inauguration day.

I’ll say this - that’s a pretty bold wager. I just did some checking. To get 301 electoral votes, Romney would need to take every state where he now has a clear lead, plus Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin. It would be the most amazing upset in election history.
