There was a lot of commentary like that in this thread. If he’d actually said you didn’t have the balls to honor the bet I might not have mod-noted him, but he didn’t.

I’m kind of amused that in a thread that started with a claim that Obama supporters weren’t really as confident in an Obama victory as they claimed, we have those supporters arbitrarily raising the odds against themselves, or even just offering to pay money if Romney wins with no need for someone to take the other side.

For me it was beyond a shadow of a doubt that Romney would not get 300+ EV, so it was really a meaningless gesture on my part, offering to pay money for an event I knew would not happen. I would have felt downright terrible if I actually expected to win money on such a thing.

Nice try but the period in question was the duration of the silence which varied from 6 months to 3 months to up till inauguration day.

The period for whining and excuses was always 7 days.

You need a formal offer and a formal acknowledgment. RNATB did not deliver. Others did: formal precedent includes Kimmy vs What the… I declare judgment for What the… and furthermore order that all attorney fees get paid by the plaintiff.
