Q: Star Trek novels

Munch, munch, munch, munch…
Munch, munch, munch, munch…

I like “Spock Must Die” based on the original series, by James Blish.

Excellent, both the original post, and my answer were …

“Spock Must Die”, by James Blish, based on the original series. Great story, good writing.

What happened to my OP??? It’s like McCoy’s “love” for the transporter! Anyway, my question was:

Do the stories within the paperback “Star Trek 12” by James Blish appear anywhere in Blish’s seemingly-identical hard back series. And extra credit: Why do some of Blish’s titles not agree with the titles of the original TV series episodes?

Thanks, Jinx

When Blish started his adaptations he worked only from shooting scripts of the episodes. It wasn’t until after the first book came out he actually saw an episode. The titles were on the scipts but changed during production.
