You should watch her show about eating food of different historical time periods. It’s called The Supersizers.
When I started watching QI at series C, I thought “they’ll never make 26 seasons of this” but it’s more popular than ever, and they’re up to ten, J, so maybe they will!
Yes, not always, but when the subject is very specific he sometimes gets into costume (as well as the guests), just by memory, he did in these episodes:
Hocus Pocus. He had a Fez and Magician clothes.
The Immortal Bard. Shakespeare era costume
*
Empire.* Like Oscar Wilde.
I spy. Like Inspector Gadget but with a mustache.
Explorers. With the stereotypical hat and costume.
And IIRC other episodes and when Christmas or Halloween come along. (He looked like Charles Dickens on one of the Christmas episodes)

Am I the only one crushing on Sue Perkins?
[/QUOTE]
That’s a big no. It’s her fault I have actually watched a show which is basically people making cakes.
I forget the name of the program, but it was a take on The Good Life, where Ms Perkins was impersonating Felicity Kendal ::sigh::
About the dressing up on QI, they do that occasionally, I think Sue was in the gothic program where they did, a bit.
Two different programmes. The cake one is The Great British Bake-Off, a cookery competition format which has swept the nation. Sue Perkins is basically the hottest bun on telly right now. She’s everywhere.
I first decided I liked Sue Perkins in that series a few years ago; Maestro, where she was one of the celebrities competing to become a conductor.
Needless to say, she won. The clever old thing!
I went through and watched every episode of QI with Sue Perkins on it. It was great but she’s developed this annoying habit of stretching her arms out every time she gets a forfeit as if instead of getting tripped up she did it on purpose.
