Please excuse someone who is young and foolish for asking this question. I do not know this myself, and those I ask give conflicting responses: which came first, the Queen song “We Will Rock You”, or the habit of stomping twice on the bleachers, then clapping once, at various sporting events?

I wonder sometimes if the clappers and stompers know the sexual preferences of Queen.
