It is an annual event, Vanilla Toast. Nowhere did Esprix “First Annual”. This is the first time it is being held on the West Coast rather than the East Coast, and once in the Mid-West, as he explained later in the thread (about his third post).
So, while I share the peeve about “First Annual”, your peevishness is misplaced here. I suspect you reacted to the OP without reading the whole thread.
