Question about an Ant

I noticed these tiny ants in my house. They are so small you can hardly see them, they are super fast.
They can see you when you try to kill them with your finger, they dodge your finger.

When I kill them they smell like mint real strong.
I forgot I killed one with my finger I put it in my mouth, it tasted just like mint.

What kind of ant is this?

I have never seen an ant this small in my life, nor one that smelled like mint when killed.

Perhaps it’s an odorous house ant; various sources say they can smell like mint (and everyone smells things a bit different). They are, as the name indicates, a “smelly” ant and small.
