Question about an article on "The Onion"...

I’m looking for an article that was on “The Onion” two weeks ago.

It was quite hilarious, it was the president of Gillette Razors basically saying “Fuck it, we’re going to 5 blades” after hearing the compitition went to 4 blades.

I had sent it out a couple of weeks ago to a few people, so I went to my sent items and checked the link, but it just went to the front page.

I checked the archives and it wasn’t there. I also did a search and nothing.

Does “The Onion” remove articles like that all the time? Did Gillette ask them to remove it?

I googled “The Onion Gillette five” and clicked on the first entry. It did, indeed, take me to the current issue. Then I clicked “cached” and was delivered to this page.

Further, that article was from Volume 40. The archives have links to issues 28-39, and in tiny letters across the top, "Not all of The Onion’s content is archived online. If you can’t find it by browsing or searching then it is not available online. "

My guess is in a week or two, when they catch up on archiving, you should have no problems finding it the way you tried.
