Question about Celebrations of African nations

At the FIFA World Cup 2010; the celebrations of the two African nations I have seen after they score are rather different from what I see from Euro, S American and even Asian nations.

Both Ghanian and S African players did some sort of dance after scoring. Are they traditional or do different culture have different ways of expressing jubilation and the African nations styles are so different that the get noticed?

And this is different from all other countries? Haven’t you ever seen American football players do a little dance in the end zone after they score a touchdown?
