Question about Coldplay's new album

I recently got the CD single for Clocks as its my Alltime Favorite Song Ever!!! at least for this week.

My question is this: does the rest of A Rush Of Blood To The Head have a similar sound to it? Should I rush right out and buy a brand new copy or scrounge around the Used CD bins?

I just got that album and love it. “Clocks” is definitely a keeper, but so are others, particularly “Warning Sign” and the last track on the CD. I think it’s called “Ball and Chain”.

I heard Clocks and I love it enough to buy the whole CD. It doesn’t all sound the same, but it’s a great CD.

I bought the CD when it first came out and I love the whole thing. Definitely buy it. If you can find a used CD that isn’t scratched up or anything, then I don’t see why you shouldn’t get that instead of spending twice as much on a brand new copy.

Enjoy!

Buy it. There’s not a song on it that I don’t like.

Definitely buy it. I love every single song on the album. I think you might be able to listen to clips of the rest of the songs at their official site.

I actually saw Coldplay live last week, and it was just incredible. The songs even sound better live than they do on the CD - much more intense. I just wish the show had been longer, since they only played for about 90 minutes.

Oh, and the last song on the album is called “Amsterdam”, not “Ball and Chain.” Still a great song.

Lovely chiming guitars. One of those rare, great albums that I can play over and over without getting tired of it. Their earlier ‘Parachutes’ had a few good singles, but every song on ‘Rush…’ is really great.

I just got it a few weeks ago and it definitely gets a thumbs up from me. Similar to their previous CD, but I think better. One of the few CDs I can say that I enjoy evey song. I’ll look forward to their next one.

Honestly, I did not like this album much at all.
I heard so much hype about it being " the best album ever" and I thought it was so boring. and non catchy.
Parachuts in my opinions was far superior. I fell in love with so many songs on that cd.
Ruch…I kinda liked Warning sign. Thats it.:frowning:

Ah yes, Coldplay. CONGRATULATIONS GUYS YOU CAN PLAY C MAJOR SEVENTH OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. MY GOD YOU HAVE THE SKILLS OF SEGOVIA WITH THE CHARISMA OF JESUS.
Nah, I’m just kidding. The opening to Politik grates on my nerves but the rest of the album is pretty cool.
