Who was Mile’s brother’ father? Was it Max or CB?
Miles’ dad is CB. His brother David’s dad is Max. I think.
I thought Miles’ mom didn’t meet CB until she started working at the factory after Miles was born. And David is conceived around the time of the trip to Martha’ Vineyard and Max tells Miles Grace is pregnant the day he comes back. Doesn’t seem to be eonugh time for Max to have gotten Grace pregnant and then confirmed the pregnancy all in one day.
But it has been a few years since I read the book.
It’s been a few years since I read it too. I googled around to jog my memory, and found a review that said Miles was CB’s son. I don’t have the book anymore, or I’d check there.
Maybe someone with a better memory than you or me will check in.
