Question about Features

The website I play poker on (for pretend money, of course), has a feature that allows you to keep notes on the players you meet. I know next to nothing about vbulletin, or features that are available, but is there any chance of a feature like this being available for posters.

Personally, I suck at keeping track of the posters I run into on the boards, and I’d love a feature that lets me put a “Funny as hell” note or “Couldn’t argue way out of a paper bag” note, or even “troll” next to a name of a poster.

I’d also like a pony if you can swing that.

I have seen this as an add-on hack for vB (“hack” is what the community calls it; despite the negative implications, most vB hacks are quite good and useful feature modifications or enhancements). I do not believe it is part of the latest vB software.

Might take it under advisement when we upgrade, still to be determined.

The best new feature in the 3.5x versions is the plugin system that means any modifications (‘hacks’) made by users to the software can be protected against future upgrades.

This wiki lists the changes from 3.0x to 3.5x.

The extra feature, or the pony?

Thanks.

Always dream big, Hamlet.

and to really help you out, I could actually input the data for you.

(I’ll take a brown pony while they’re taking orders, btw)

Now THAT sounds like a great feature.

And I get first dibs on any ponies that are being handed out.

If wishes were [del]horses[/del] ponies, we’d all be eatin’ steak.

“Pony Steak”, Ewwww!!!. You have some strange taste in food Skip.

Mmmmm. Filet de Flicka!

It would be a very useful feature - I can never remember if it’s Lynn or Tuba that I’m supposed to send the bribes of chocolate to.
And which one gets the bribes of liquor and male strippers. I’d hate to mix them up.
Oh, and I want a black pony with a white spot on its head.

Filet de filly!

I forgot to mention - I’ll need a few more accessories for the pony - a stable, preferably white with light blue trim, a stable boy (specs on request), lifetime supply of hay and straw, of course. Let me know when I can anticipate delivery.
