Help me out here, people, this one really has me going:*
The Riddler is just about to push Robin off a ledge nine or ten floors up, when suddenly Batman appears on the roof and tells the Boy Wonder to grab his Batarang with his teeth.** He does as he’s told (even though he’s already started falling at 32ft/s/s) and Batman pulls him up.
*“Gosh, Batman! It’s a good thing I take care of my teeth!”
“Yes, Robin. Never underestimate the importance of good dental hygeine!”*
(Or something like that.)
I turned it on late and obviously missed something: How the hell did Batman get up on that roof? How did he know where Robin was, and how was he able to get onto the top of the building so fast? Is he really* that good*? :dubious:
Any plausible answer will be gratefully considered!
*An obvious sign of just how pointless my life has become.
**On the other hand, if you have a dirty mind, this conjures up all sorts of interesting possibilities…
According to the Batman Wiki Batman had captured Pauline, took her back to the Batcave for interrogation, and got a couple of clues out of her. Easy peasy.
**Robin**: Holy molars! Am I ever glad I take good care of my teeth!
**Batman**: True. You owe your life to dental hygiene.
Episode 32, The Riddler’s False Notion
And according to batman.wikia.com, it’s because of Batman’s solving a couple of riddles (cause Riddler episode, duh) that he knows where to position himself to save the Boy [del]Blunder[/del] Wonder:
Batman elicits two more riddles from Pauline. These lead him to the top of the Chessman Building, where the Riddler and his felonious film-crew are filming a sequence in which Robin is about to be pushed off a high ledge to plummet to his death on the street below…
