Question about Law & Order

Who shot Greene? And did Greene return to the force after that? Was there a follow-up episode to that one?

(This was the episode where a cute female lawyer was found killed in her office building.)

I was wondering the same thing. I know this was a “themed” L&O marathon but how could they play that episode and NOT follow it up with the next one, theme be damned?!

What was the theme?

Is it anything to do with the fact that I now consider Jack a dick?

Yes, he returned. His actual exit from the show was at least two seasons later, I think. Don’t remember if the episode had a follow-up or not.

The follow-up epidode was with a different show in the franchise (Trial by Jury in this case, I believe). TNT does that a lot, the show the first episode that that crosses over to a related NBC drama, but the never show the follow-up because it’s not a Law & Order epsiode. Irks me off!!

Yes, he comes back to be partnered with the worst detective in the history of the show - the one female detective featured whose character lucked into the job following the publicity of her falling ass backwards into a hero’s role during a mugging/shooting/robbery.

L&O eventually made it up to me (yes, me personally) by bringing Lupo and Bernard together to finish off the series with the strongest arrangement since the beginning (including the Order side).

I majored in Law & Order my first go-round in college. I did my grad work in SVU with a minor second degree in CI. I told my mother it’s so’s I don’t know how to properly digest a meal without a heinous crime or sexually based offense in the background.

ETA: I do not remember a follow up with the person that shot him. Part of this may be due to my repressed memory of anything Imperioli related.

Greene got shot because Jesse Martin was going to be reprising his role in in “Rent”. But I don’t recall who pulled the trigger.

The trigger guy was a bald man in a red sports car, and was gunning for the witness (or suspect) that Greene was escorting. That’s all we know.

The theme was something about “DAs kicking ass” or something like that

Oh. Really? The one about the car chase wasn’t really Jack kicking ass. He was being a dick, though. I’ve come to the firm opinion that he really doesn’t want justice, he just wants to prosecute someone – anyone. For any reason that he can think up.

Sorry, but that episode just pissed me off.

I THOUGHT I recognized you from the Alumni bashes!

You can get CEU’s by watching Bones during dinner.

Mom, is that you? This is exactly what I did when I was at her house for a couple years during nsg school.

Mom moved on to a Criminal Minds endorsement as well.

Yes, honey, it’s me. Why haven’t you written/called? I’m sending you a box of those cookies you like and some nice warm socks. xoxo

I haven’t watched Criminal Minds… should I? Is Joe Mantegna still on it. I really love him.
