I am giving my brother my copy of Professor Layton and the Curious Village (on DS Lite) for Christmas. Yes, I am giving him a used game–I am broke, and I know he would like the game.
Anyhoo, I can’t figure out how to delete my profile. Does anyone know?
I tried to look it up on GameFaqs and couldn’t find it. So, if you are wanting to make the game look as if it has never been played, you may be out of luck. If you just don’t want him to have access to later parts of the game until he has played it, then I guess you could start a new game and save over the previous saves at the first opportunity. I don’t know how far that puts you into the game.
The results from this Google search all pretty much confirm there is no delete option. Sorry. I think that’s stupid, myself.
Survey says, A: try a New Game. It’ll erase your save, then give you the option of starting a new game.
Try it, see if it works.
B: Turn off the game in the middle of a save, to corrupt the existing save. Should wipe the corrupted save on the next boot.
