I got the curiosity to visit ATMB at the same time as I had a question in mind…
How do I get it to put my sig in every time? I can’t find an option in the ‘options’.
As it is I need to re-select it every time.
You can’t have your sig automatically inserted every time you post.
In fact, posting your sig more than once per thread is highly discouraged. You might have noticed that this board is rather slow sometimes. We all try to ease the burden on the server by not posting our sigs too often.
After all, we really only need to read it once to get the idea, right? Why pound us over the head with it?
Also…since you’re new, I suggest reading the guidelines for posting at the SDMB. It will probably answer other questions you have…
…also, when you post the subject of your thread, try to pick something a bit more descriptive than “well wadaya know”. If you look at other threads you’ll see that their titles are a bit more descriptive of the contents. For instance, “Question about Sigs” would’ve been a better choice.
I know…rules, rules, rules. But it really does make things easier for all of us–well, wadaya know!
Mr. Frink is correct. You have to check the Show Signature: box every time you want to show your sig and once per thread (or once per page if you must) is enough for us to get the idea.
