I understand some of the reasons that people may make sock accounts - they’ve been banned, maybe they want someone to agree with their main account’s opinions. But has there ever been an instance of multiple sock accounts, from the same user, having an argument with each other? Just for the hell of it?
Right now they’re navy. Usually that’s what I wear to work since I usually wear dark pants. Weekends I often wear white athletics.
I have an awful time finding matching ones in the morning. It’s amazing how many pairs of navy you can have that are all different in some way. Same goes for whites.
According to a Just Shoot Me rerun on in the middle of the night a night or two ago, betting 50 dimes means betting 50 thousand dollars! Wow are you gonna owe you a lot if RickJay loses.
Hey you two! An argument, even with one’s own sock, isn’t just bare contradictions – it requires logical reasoning to uphold MY premiss and beat down YOUR premiss.
When I was very young, I did this once (not here). I had two different accounts on a forum for something stupidly geeky… Star Wars, I think, and maybe even specifically Boba Fett. I started a second account so that I could be snarky to people when I thought they deserved it without it tainting my reputation on the main account. At one point, I had the two accounts argue with each other–possibly in a deliberate attempt to allay the concerns of anyone who might have suspected they were the same person.
Now, of course, I’m just abrasive as myself, and I don’t give a shit if people think less of me for it.
