Saw this on my weather page. Unknown precipitation? I think you must be close to Yucaipa, so tell me what the heck is going on there? Raining buckets down the road here in Palm Springs. I just got back from Maui, last week they had the biggest rainfall totals in 10 years. And our weather dude on TV gets excited about 1 inch, when over there they were talking about 9-14 inches in one day!

It’s been alternating pouring down buckets and just raining. I think it means “We don’t know how much rain, or of what type, but it’s sure coming down!”

So it’s types 87 and 100?

Unless it’s hidden, I think they’ve updated their page. Where did it say unknown?

Earlier this morning. I guess since it’s shifted to mainly Type 100, they updated the page. Although they are still predicting some Type 32.7 later on today.
