I was just wondering: Are there teams digging in through the subway tunnels? Or is the site too far from any line? I seem to remember from my last trip to NYC (late 80’s) that the WTC had a stop or two. Are those lines blocked by debris?
Thanks

The only known subway damage is some minor damage on the 1 and 9 line, which does go right by the WTC.
The PATH trains are fine but are obviously not stopping at the WTC like they usually do.
I actually just heard a report of rescuers using motor boats in the subways beneath looking for survivors.
