Agreed and bravo! I wonder how many SDMB’ers you just whooshed? Haha!
Though I stopped wearing my gold hoop years ago, I have indeed sailed across the equator. I’m often whooshed, but not this time.
I realized after posting that the majority of SDMB’ers, being of higher intelligence than most, may not have been in fact whooshed. Regardless, I thought it was a cool reference!
Belay that comment and carry on ya’ salty dogs of the sea else I’ll keel haul the lot of ya’ scurvy bastards.

I have a small titanium hoop in my right ear, about halfway up from my earlobe. I can take it out and you would never know that ear is pierced. My wife likes it and I actually hope to get my daughter’s ear pierced in the same place, I think it would be neat.
I think its funny that people actually thijudge your sexuality by where you wear your earring. But, it probably helps me out more than it hurts. If someone is so shallow as to have prejudices like that, then I’m probably better off without them in my life.

Uhh…thijudge, the process of thinking about judging…yeah, that’s it!
My opinion on guys and earrings - don’t like earrings on guys, period. I also think Harrison Ford looks silly with his midlife crisis earring (and girlfriend, but that’s not important right now). My husband wears only a watch and a wedding band (well, and clothes, usually), and that’s just right for me.
