Look for Indo Mee ramen noodles. Comes with 5 flavour packets. Put all the flavourings in the bottom of your bowl, NOT the soup. Shred whatever leftover meat you’re adding. Add veggies like snow peas, sliced carrot, celery, to boiling noodles. Put aside sliced green onion, and shredded cabbage.
Mix the cooked noodle/veg mix, in the bowl with flavour packets, push aside and put shredded cabbage underneath the now seasoned noodles, dip shredded meet onto boiled water then onto ramen noodles. Sprinkle with black pepper. Top with green onions and cilantro.
If you want soup add the boiled water/broth. Or can have as just noodles. It’s very yummy, I encourage you to try it.
I just received a box of ramen bowls from Yami. (Make sure to filter “Fulfilled by Yami”, I’ve heard bad things about outside venders.) I ordered 24 assorted bowls for around $2.50 a bowl and $5.00 shipping for the box. Make sure to get a tonkotsu. Try a bunch to see what you like. Jjajang, Udon, hot and sour, Tom You, cheese, seafood, Tempura… You don’t have to just stick with just ramen. It’s a wild world out there. Maybe you’ll love Korean or Chinese noodles. I really like Ottigi’s Seseme, it’s got a weird freeze dried egg block. Watch out for the spicy ones, they can be almost inedible.
My favorite add-ins: Thin sliced or shredded meat leftovers. An egg cracked in with 1:30 left on the microwave. Kimchi, green onion, and bean sprouts. Hot sauce depending on the base broth.
