I’m…I’m sorry…did you just impugn the hotness of Hannelore?
I’m afraid this calls for pistols at dawn.

Did anyone else misread today’s punchline as, “You’re going to be so hot when you go gay”?
Well, you know, that goes without saying.
I did. I read it a couple of times because it was confusing. I think Marten’s dad being gay helped with the confusion. I love how in the second and third panels Marten and his dad have the exact. same. face. Just different hair.
I have to say Faye is my favorite character. I like girls with some junk in their trunk and odd emotional baggage.
But now her hair is all black again? Continuity error?
Ha! I hadn’t even noticed that, what with focusing on Marten v Marten-Dad’s face. Yes, egregious continuity error.
And I’m totally at a loss to see why someone would describe Dora as soo-hot! in panel 3 today, vs panels 2 where she looks identical but facing the other way. BrotherCadfael did you really mean today’s strip (#1515) or some other, or some other panel?
Not necessarily. In the first panel of the comic from the previous day, Dora says she’s going to have to get her hair done before she meets Marten’s dad. Evidently, that includes a new dye job.
That’s a good point. I guess maybe Jeph got tired of drawing Dora’s confusing blond/black hair style? I hope this is temporary – I was looking forward to seeing what Dora looked like when finally all-blond.
In the first comic, why does she ask if he’s a student in panel two? Isn’t it obvious that he isn’t?
It’s possible Jeph just forgot it was a women’s college when writing the dialogue for that strip, but then again, Tai is probably used to seeing androgynous or even masculine women around campus, and why assume anything? I’m just speculating, though. I mean, Marten’s definitely a guy, but he’s not, er, terribly manly.
