There’s tons of physical evidence that we have linked for you – teeth, bones, bone fragments, bone ash, human fat residue, chemical remnants of lime-dissolution of bodies, etc. You just hand-wave it away.

It’s my understanding that they also used a trustee system, that is to say “turncoat” prisonners who’d work with the Nazis in exchange for, presumably, getting killed last. Or getting 25 grams of bread a week, or a sippy cup of vodka, or something equally dismal that’d nevertheless have been a feast in context.
Why is that self evident? Are you an expert in this sort of thing?
100-200 people can do quite a lot of things if they’re reasonably well organized. 200 people would be a fairly large enterprise capable of a lot of effort.
As to eyewitness reports, I realize you aren’t going to read this but I’ll throw a Hail Mary; eyewitness reports of true things always get details wrong. That does not mean the event did not happen.
If you were to ask 100 people where they were and what they were doing when the World Trade Center was destroyed on 9/11 all of them would have vivid, clear memories of it. But in fact, a shocking number of them, perhaps as many as 25, would be totally wrong. I’m serious; you can do a stdy of this (and people have) and the propensity for people to just completely misremember that sort of thing is remarkable. That does not mean 9/11 didn’t essentially happen in the manner we remember it.
My grandfather was a bomber pilot in Bomber Command during the Second World War. He told me many tales about it, and the fact is that he got some of the details wrong. He just did. That does not mean the Second World War didn’t happen, or that life in Bomber Command was not essentially as he described it.
You are still looking at pebbles and missing the mountain. Why you do not understand the mot rudimentary, logical things about stuff like eyewitness testimony, I cannot say. I don’t know if you’re very young and ignorant of common sense, or ideologically driven, or what, but saying the Holocaust didn’t happen because old Mr. Hertzel or whomever says that Sobibor had 100 guards when this other reference says 200 is just ridiculous. If I documented your trip to the mall and afterwards asked you to describe it in detail, I am absolutely, one hundred percent certain you’d get a detail or three wrong. That does not mean you didn’t go to the mall.

And while that’s a good show and introduces people to the concept of hypothesis and testing, what they do is hardly rigorous.

A single tire does not a tire fire make, nor does a single cut up chicken in a tin can in your back yard make a pile of human corpses in a dedicated crematorium.
I can see him in my mind’s eye, outside by the grill, cutting up chicken breasts, inserting little shards of bone to simulate skeletons - nicking his finger, cursing the conspiracy that has blunted his knives, muttering ‘Blut und Boden’ as it drips onto the ground beside his grill. Making the little camp rags for the chicken strips is difficult, and dressing them seems silly, but authenticity is key. He stops himself from making SS chicken guards, although he is tempted.
He arranges the chicken prisoners in his backyard Weber crematorium with care. It’s tough to make them fit right, as the scale is way off, the Weber is rounder than a dug pit, and has a bottom ash grill. Finally he does his best, using parts scavenged from his twin towers lego-and-wooden-skewer model, and his lunar lander leg reflector simulator.
He has no idea how to simulate the amount of fuel used, since there are problems of scale, so he makes a tiny chicken-strip-guard-sized gas can and walks at around the perimeter of the weber, chucking in fuel. Finally, he lights it, and a plume of chickeny dense acrid black smoke fills the sky, and the neighbors all look up and think, “Oh, God, Gack is at it again, I remember when he burnt down the elm tree after 9-11”.
Be careful Gack. Handling raw chicken can make you sick, and gasoline is very dangerous to mess with. Don’t hurt yourself.
Hell, the Titanic was IIRC, almost a mile long and the survivors disagreed over whether or not it split in half before it sunk, which is something you’d think would be hard to miss.

Gack, when I encouraged you to read the eyewitness accounts, I had high hopes you would be emotionally moved, as I was. How can you read about the writer’s experiences of hiding between dead bodies in order to live, hauling dead bodies out of the train, exhuming buried bodies, watching people shot when they got in a guard’s way, or pretending to be one of the designated workers just to stay alive?
You don’t seem to have any interest in the humanity and the suffering. You don’t have the slightest sympathy towards your fellow man’s desperate and hopeless plight. Is this because you believe, as Hitler did, that Jews and Gypsies aren’t human? Or is it just a mental flaw that you can’t help?
Instead of reading about the eyewitnesses’ sad existence, you are more concerned with numbers and irrelevant facts. What if the recollections were slightly off and it was only 6000 instead of 8000? What if it was a gasoline engine, not a diesel? What if it was a Tuesday, not a Wednesday? What if the stripes were horizontal instead of the reported vertical? Does that make the Holocaust any more tolerable to you or anyone else?
I feel incredibly sorry that this is how you look at the world, and I have to say it: an attitude towards human life like yours is what allowed the Holocaust to happen in the first place. You would have fit right in with the guards and the Final Solution organizers.

Four questions, Gack (which I’ve never heard any denier answer):
If there was no Holocaust, what happened to the Jews? There were 3 million in Poland alone before the war and only a few thousand left when the war ended. They did not emigrate from Europe, they died. Gentile Poles died too, died aplenty, what with Hitler and Stalin both invading them, and then Hitler fighting Stalin halfway across Poland from west to east, and then Stalin fighting Hitler all the way across Poland from east to west; but they did not die in proportionately commensurate numbers, there were still millions left when the war ended. What, other than an intentional program to kill them off, can explain the deaths of all those Jews?
If the Holocaust is a hoax, who perpetrated that hoax and why?
If the Holocaust is a hoax, how were the hoaxers able to gull the presiding generals of the Nuremberg Trials, who were well positioned to get at the true facts of the matter?
How do you explain away the minutes of the Wannsee Conference?
