Say you get a spam email advertising “4 DVDs for one penny!1!” or whatever. Can you hold the company actually selling them accountable for sending out all that unsolicited spam? I mean, it seems to me that there has to be an actual company behind all these.
What I’m trying to say here is that even though the company itself may not be sending out the spam, they’re paying someone else to do it…so surely they can be held accountable as well?
I know I could never actually do anything about this, I’m just curious as to how something like that would be handled.
