Questions Only thread

How can you tell when someone needs defenestrating?

Well, if someone is located inside a building, and they need to be relocated outside the building as quickly as possible, what else would you do?

Come to think of it, can anyone ever recall someone stating they really needed to be defenestrated?

Isn’t that the kind of thing where you recognize the need for something to happen and just take the initiative?

Yeah usually, but shouldn’t we be prepared nonetheless just in case someone approaches you and says “excuse me, but could you please shove me out this window?”

It would be ungracious not to comply, don’t you think?

Dopers are nothing if not helpful, aren’t we?

May I make it clear here and now that if an individual were to ask me, I could be counted on to defenestrate them without hesitation?

There’s no reason I should doubt you, is there?

I dunno, couldn’t he be one of those half-hearted lamers that hesitates in the face of silly things, like, you know, potential criminal prosecution?

Oh, c’mon, who would worry about that?

If they ask you to do it, what could possibly be criminal about it?

Is that really how that works?

Should we ask the intern to research it, just to make sure?

Why bother a stoner, I mean doper intern? Aren’t we willing to learn the legal system as we go?

Are you suggesting learning the law through trial and error? I see the appeal of that method, but don’t we just want a brief answer?

Besides, we never did get a useful response from the intern about Don Henley, did we? Why should we expect a more satisfactory response to this inquiry?

Don Henley? Who’s he?

Are you serious?

Why would you ask such a question in this thread, of all places?
