[Aside: I know the film well, and have seen it multiple times. Moreover, I’ve also met its director, David Cronenberg, on a few occasions. Nice guy, very pleasant to chat and have coffee with, seems perfectly normal in every way. As a result, I’m left wondering how he gets the ideas for the weird movies he makes. :)]
