It’s been over 10 years since I lived in LA and I still hear that tune.

Alyssa Milano (Eva Savalot: “Dial 1-800-COLLECT”…same schtick as Mr. T) is currently to be found on The WB’s series “Charmed”. Miss Cleo definitely is on my “where’s the shotgun?” list. “CALL ME NOW fer yah free tarot readin’!” she bellows. SHOOT ME NOW I bellow back. There’s also an ad for an auto insurance company that they play twice during every commercial break–same exact spot.
The local one that’s really burning me these days is for a local community college. They not only have shot about half a dozen spots for this place, but they play them all at once. I was watching Springer (see, I do SO have a life) the other night, and every commercial break during the entire show was six spots for the same college. The SAME SIX. EVERY commercial break. Makes me long for the good old days of Sally Struthers trying to help me jumpstart my career in gun repair.

I absolutely hate the oil comercials with that woman from King of Queens (I think that is the show). Don’t know what it is about her, but she just pisses me off the instant she opens her mouth.

the main one that comes to mind is the one that starts out showing a fake ad for a show,(Gary Coleman is on one of them) then suddenly a-a-a-a thing!!! runs across the screen!!!
Call me a wimp if you want but I just can’t bear to look at that.
Oh yeah, I also am getting realllly tired of any sort of psa ad, especially the kind that shows bad home movies of somebody then at the end they mention how they were killed by a drunk driver.
Or any kind showing some kid telling people not to smoke.:rolleyes:
