This was third party, and I was under the impression that it was VERY urgent, as was the woman I was talking to. I don’t know if this girl she was talking to was pranking or not. Sadly, I hope she was. All I can say is, if you happen to know of good resources, they will be passed along. I don’t know if they will go to use or not.

  1. If there is immediate physical danger, call 911.
  2. If it’s just a general unpleasantness, call AA, NA, Alateeen, Alanon, or any related group. Depending on the size of your city, one or more of these organizations will have a 24-hour Hotline of some kind.
  3. If it’s a matter of dealing with life on a long-term basis, look into Alanon, Alateen, or counseling provided by Human Services.
  4. Above all, remember the Serenity Prayer:
    God, grant me the Serenity
    To accept the things I cannot change,
    The Courage to change the things I can,
    And the Wisdom to know the difference.
