OK, this should hopefully be short but sweet.
Typically when I opened MS Word and started a document while I viewed it in Print Layout View (not Print Preview) the cursor would begin at the upper left corner of the page and the left and top margins were visible.
Currently, due to unknown reasons, the cursor displays directly at the top of the visible page. The left margin is still there but the top margin is not visible at the top of the page.
This is apparently just a “view” issue since the top margin is still there. When I switch to print preview it’s there and the page settings agree. When I toggle the “Header and Footer” option the margin pops up and when I turn off the header and footer the margin remains visible.
Anyone seen this weirdness before? It’s not a problem that prevents me from doing anything I want, but I find it exceedingly annoying that my typing starts right at the very top of the window. If anyone can help I’d be eternally in your debt.
