QuickTest

(Testing KDE browser)

KDE has a browser, now, too? I thought it was just a windowing environment.

Well, Konqueror (which I’d rather be using) is kind of associated with KDE. You’re right though. It is more accurately a FreeBSD browser, I just happened to be in KDE. Am now here in BSD version of Netscape Communicator.

It’s a bit of a bootstrap procedure – the browsers bundled with the ports on-disk are elderly to the point that they don’t play nicely with sites that have newer/ better browsers available for download.

(It would help if I were more familiar with KDE and FreeBSD but becoming familiar therewith is kind of the whole point here)
