I have attempted numerous times to post threads, in various forums, with a few words enclosed in quotation marks. But when the thread is posted, not only do the quotation marks not appear, whatever text I put between them is also omitted. Why? Is it construed as a URL or is it just beyond the boards’ ken? 
It looks like when you do preview, any double-quote is removed from the subject along with everything past the first double quote. Since, subjects don’t show in preview, you probably didn’t notice.
If you want to use double-quotes in your subject, you must re-enter the double-quotes and everything past them after you preview.
We’ve covered this once or twice before.
