For multiquotes, you can highlight the relevant text, copy it, then go to the Quick Reply field. Type the left square bracket, then “quote”, then right square bracket, then paste. At the end type left square bracket, “/quote”, then right square bracket. Put in line breaks where needed, then Post Quick Reply.
FWIW, I logged out and got a Internal Server Error page.
Wow, same thing happens to me. When I clicked on quote all I got was:
**[ QUOTE=Kenm;18119313]— Gaudere’s Law
[/QUOTE]
followed by two blank lines**

“— Gaudere’s Law” was the extent of my post.
I fixed the quote-code typo so the quote boxes would display.
But when I first tried to quote your post, the box came up entirely blank again, so I fired up Safari and posted again.
The box doesn’t hate Safari, which is ironic because I do.

Sorry, I forgot to plug my brain in. I know quoted text doesn’t show up when quoting a post, but I just went into La-La land. :o

I find that quotes (both multi and regular) work consistently if I use the “Post Reply” button to begin my post. If I just start typing in the Quick Reply box, or use “Post Quick Reply” to enter it, then regular quotes will sometimes work, and multi-quotes will never work.
I always right click on “Post Reply” and copy the link, then paste and go to the link in a second tab. I reuse my tabs, but keep thread pages active for reference. Never use “Quick Reply”.
I’ve never encountered any of these problems.
