I can’t seem to get the quote or multi-quote functions to work properly. Is it just me or is there something going on with the board?

Isn’t there a new thread about the AMA or someone saying multiquotes are not good for you after all?
Sometimes they do not work for me, but most of the time they do. Here, and Customers Suck - haven’t noticed it on any other board thought, perhaps it is the version of vBulletin?
I have been having intermittent quote problems for about 6 months, and have mentioned it in several threads in ATMB.
Briefly, sometimes when I select quotes or multiquotes and then open the edit window, the quotes do not show up.
Sometimes I will compose a post, hit preview, and all the content is deleted in the edit window when the preview is shown.
There is some buffer issue I have not been able to narrow down.
I was trying to see if it was a case where I selected multiquotes over some time length, but it happens if I pick a single quote and open the reply window.
I’ve tried going back and retriggering the quotes (toggling off/on), but that doesn’t work. If it didn’t load the quotes for that thread, it won’t load them when I retoggle.
It is not a consistent problem, it doesn’t happen every time, but it does happen frequently.
Sometimes I’m forced to manually code the quotes like the old days.
This describes the problem exactly. Working again for the moment, obviously. . .
