I think what Askia fails to realise is the knock-on effect such actions have. Believe me, I’d be the first one to laugh if he knocked some redneck on his ass for calling him a nigger, and let’s face it, retorting with ‘honkey’ just won’t cut it because the word doesn’t have the same kind of stigma attached, plus violence is likely the only language said hick understands anyway. If Askia is for real - and this increasingly lame ‘gangsta’ act suggests otherwise to me - I’d imagine he’s quite built and/or cocksure and able to look out for himself, but that’s going to be little consolation for his more bookish, spindly brother that the same redneck sees having a quiet drink at the bar once he’s out of casualty, who won’t be looking too pretty at the very least once he’s bore the brunt of some newly exacerbated racial hatred. Instead of showing the white power brigade who not to fuck with as is his wont, he’s letting his whole race down in my opinion. Hardly the way forward.
