I’m a dumbass, but for a completely different reason, and I’m HAPPY about it! I kicked my self just a little when I first paid, because somehow, I wound up paying for two years. Glad I did it now!

You know, if the SDMB can re-instate the dumbasses to charter status, maybe you guys should think about new status titles that can be bought, kind of like indulgences.
So, if I wanted to be have a status of “Charter Member and Lord High Commissioner” I’d have to pay say $25. If I wanted to be “SDSAB” I’d have to pay $1,000. Could be quite a racket.

My problem was that I completely missed the “noon” part of the deadline. I only saw the April 28th part. So on the 27th I go to resubscribe and have a problem (the ethernet card in my Internet gateway keeps mysteriously ceasing to function; I suspect it’s trying to kill me by raising my blood pressure to dangerous levels). No big deal, right? I could still do it the next day. So I go ambling back over there around four o’clock, and … yeah.
Yep. I awoke on Friday morning and congratulated myself that it was still the 28th in SDMBland. I wrongly assumed the deadline was 12 midnight.
