I wasn’t but now I am. Maybe their servers are overloaded.
I’m actually enjoying it. Rap has never been my thing, but over the years I’ve gotten to where I can appreciate some of it when I encounter it, even if I don’t actively seek it out.
Well, I’m out of here. Enjoy!
I’m liking John Legend.
John Legend is great, but I hope they move on soon. I didn’t tune in for a concert.
You can watch it on Washington Post’s site.
Legend just dropped an F-bomb.
Some of the signs are pretty amusing.
Roots/Legend portion is scheduled for 40 minutes.
I have friends attending today that are currently on the Metro trying to get to the rally, reporting that the Metro trains are leaving behind “100s of people” at each station because the trains are completely full. Hundreds of people seems a bit excessive to me, but that’s what they said.
I was pretty surprised because I thought they were airing the rally on a time delay to catch things like that. Was that incorrect or are the censors just too busy rocking out to care right now?
Adam and Jamie!
What amusing signs? A live-blogger is mentioning people dressed as witches.
I hate the wave, but it’s a brilliant idea to have a crowd this big do it, and then time it.
Men win by 2 seconds! That’s no tie!
I believe it. There are delays on all lines and at some points they are single-tracking between certain stations. Quite often trains come into stations completely full especially on big event days/weekends when there are much fewer trains running and they are coming further apart than usual (weekday rush hour trains come every couple of minutes; weekends and nights it can be as much as 15-20 minutes).
I am getting near bedtime, so the Good Stuff must be about to start. Same as it ever was.
There was a sign with a caracature of Christine O’Donnell as a witch that said, “Keep big government out of my cauldron,” another one that said, “I doubt this sign will change your opinion,” one or two other witch references, one that said “Don’t stomp on my head because I disagree with you.” There are others, but I don’t remember them all.
Loved Don Novello.
My favorite so far: BIRTHERS FOR HAWAII STATEHOOD
Yusuf? No kidding…
My brother’s down in this. I hope he’s enjoying it all.
Dang, I was not expecting them to interrupt Yusuf, seriously. And now Ozzie’s out there? SHeesh!
